Nagpur: As the winter turns its side on the horizons of Nagpur, the atmosphere on Wednesday was fully charged with the cheers to the finals off 82nd Senior National Badminton Championship.
Coming to the women’s double, Sikkin Reddy and Ashwini Ponnappa grabbed the title as they beat Sanyogita and Prajakata Sawant in quite an easy win.
The duo put up a powerful show against the opponents and swept to victory with 21-14 and 21-14.
Now all eyes are trained on the most celebrated finals underway between Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu in the women’s single.
