Nagpur News: The Nagpur Amateur Sports Association (NASA) drubbed Pande Layout Sports Club(PLSC) 63-29 (13-3, 15-6, 13-8, 22-12) in the District Level Basketball Tournament being held at Shankar Nagar-based DKM Basketball Club. The key players of NASA Sujoy Bose, Prateek Bidwaikar, and Anuj Nathani displayed their excellent skills and humiliated PLSC with a big margin of victory in the quarter-finals thus creating a place in the semi-final of the tournament jointly organized by Nagpur District Basketball Association and Dharampeth Krida Mandal.
In the other quarter-final match, Nutan Bharat Yuvak Sangh (NBYS) defeated Shivaji Nagar Gymkhana (SNG) by a narrow margin of 51-45 (5-10, 18-12, 12-17, 10-12). After the victory over SNG, the NBYS, too, entered the semi-final of the Tournament. Chayan Sarkar became the highlight for NBYS after scoring 15 points.
