Nagpur News : Senior Congress leader and Maharashtra Industries Minister Narayan Rane today reviewed the ongoing preparations for the two-day conference on ‘Advantage Vidarbha’ scheduled to be held here on February 25 and 26, assuring full co-operation to host the event.
State Social Justice Minister Shivajirao Moghe, who is also the district guardian minister who initiated the move along with Industries Secretary Manukumar Shrivastava and FICCI representatives were present at the meeting in Mumbai today.
Speaking after the meeting, Moghe said Rane agreed to personally extend invitations to industrialists to attend the event. He said Gautam Singhania of JK Group, Sajan Jindal of Jindal Group, and other industrialists have nearly confirmed their participation in the conference.
FICCI and Vidarbha Industries’ Association’s local unit have been entrusted with the responsibiity of finalising the participation and confirmation of top industrial houses.
The event is being organised in association with the MIDC, Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MADC), MTDC, MHADA and CIDCO.
The event would deliberate on sectors like information technology, textiles, auto, power engineering, mining industries, logistics and tourism, Moghe said.
