Nana Patole
Ahmedabad: Erstwhile BJP leader who was elected M.P. from Bhanda-Gondia constituency is in Gujarat to ‘help the Congress defeat BJP’ which he proclaimed is an anti OBC, anti farmer and anti Dalit party and must go.

Ironically, Patole had defeated Praful Patel, a prominent Gujarathi leader of NCP in 2014 from Gondia!

Nana hasn’t officially joined the Congress yet, but was given a rousing welcome by Congress workers at the airport where he arrived.

Speaking to some media persons Patole reiterated that BJP leaders like Fadnavis and Gadkari had vociferously promised to support creation of Vidarbha but have now gone back on their promise.

Farmers issues all over country being ignored

Patole alleged that farmers problems all over the country were being ignored and pre poll promises of 2014 to give them adequate remuneration and increased MSP have not been honoured.

“It is clear now that this government is working only for the benefit of a chosen few” said Nana.

When questioned about BJP MLA Dr. Ashish Deshmukh’s letter to the CM expressing dissatisfaction with progress on Vidarbha issues Nana said dissatisfaction was brewing among many BJP leaders.

“The situation will boil over for them soon, leaders will begin speaking up” he declared.

‘Nana has made a mistake and he will realize it’ Fadnavis had said about Nana’s resignation.

Reacting to this statement Padole said “I am but an OBC leader who speaks up about farmers and tribals. Fadnavis is not bothered with me; he has only used such issues to get elected.”
