Nagpur: Acclaimed Bollywood and Marathi actor Nana Patekar arrived in the city on Saturday and visited the residence of Union Surface Transport and Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari. Reputed for his free and frank expressions on various issues, Patekar held parleys with Gadkari and discussed a point or two. However, the contents of the talk between the two were not disclosed either by the actor or the minister.
In September 2015, Nana Patekar established an organization, Naam Foundation, with fellow Marathi actor Makarand Anaspure, which works to provide aid to farmers to overcome drought conditions in the State.
Flag hoisting ceremony will be held at RSS Headquarters in Mahal on the Independence Day at 8 am. RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat will attend the function.
