Nagpur: Nana Padole on Thursday, resigned from his post of Maharashtra State Assembly Speaker. Padole has set to become new President of Maharashtra Congress.
According to sources, Congress president Sonia Gandhi has finalised Nana Patole’s name to lead Congress in Maharashtra. Hence, before the formal announcement, Padole stepped down as speaker.
