Bollywood Diva and International Popstar Priyanka Chopra was in Pune on Sunday to launch ‘The Mugshot Lounge’ a new dining and lounge bar experience owned by her brother Siddharth Chopra and his business partner, Nagpur based lad Yug Tuli.
The Mugshot Lounge received a grand welcome by Pune people in a glittering event. hosted by the effervescent Anusha Dandekar, The evening saw a crazy mash-up of the country’s renowned DJs – DJ Akbar Sami, DJ Zeke and Dj Angel, who spun their web of music mastery creating an epic event. The event was attended by some of the biggest names across the city.
Adding to this power-packed launch, Priyanka surprised one and all turning into a celebrity bartender and DJ as well.
Says Priyanka, “I am so happy to be here tonight in support of Siddharth and Yug as they kick-start their new venture. I am extremely proud of Siddharth and all that he has accomplished so far! He has a strong passion for the hospitality industry and has many creative ideas that will help him achieve the success that he has worked so hard for.”
As they say, the Mughsot Lounge is a place where people can enjoy conversations over mugs of the best brew or indulge in variety of shots during a fun evening with friends. A variety of eatables to complement the drinks are availed as well.
Nonetheless, Yug Tuli, who has been involved in this project equally actively said, “This is the first project that me and Siddharth are working on together and we are sure to give the people of Pune a dining experience which they have never seen before. I’m sure, with our International exposure and expertise put together, TML, the brand will become very popular in the city and we will soon expand to other cities.”
Yug Tuli is a young entrepreneur and a director at the Tuli Group, Nagpur, which has an expertise of over 30 years in Hospitality. He is a topper in MBA in hospitality finance from Les Roches International School of Hotel Management, Switzerland and was also recognized as the most valuable student of the Institute by the Swiss government.
Siddharth Chopra, who was much excited about the launch said, “I’m obliged to announce the Mugshot Lounge opening in Pune. As the name suggests, the Mugshot Lounge to me, is not just about the food but about capturing people’s expressions as they are welcomed to an all-round, exclusive, high-end casual dining experience. I’m extremely grateful to my friends and family who are here to share this moment with me and I would like to thank Priyanka for her constant support in making this happen.”
Having completed his entrepreneurship with a BBA degree in Hospitality from one of the most prestigious institutes Les Roches International School of Hotel Management Switzerland, Siddharth is striving to create a new revolution in hospitality. The Mugshot Lounge is his first venture.
The Mugshot Lounge is now open at Jewel Plaza, Koregaon Park, Pune.
