Nagpur: Nagpur girl Tanaya Bowade won first runner title at prestigious Ms India Pacific 2019 contest held in Mumbai.
Tanaya, an engineer by profession, also won Ms Beautiful face title in the event. A 5 feet 7 inches tall diva, she is pursuing software engineering from VJTI Mumbai and is placed at the leading multinational bank Barclays. She is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer for 10 years now & a state level chess player too. She is the alumni of Centre Point School Nagpur.She says that her initial growing up years in Nagpur & her school life played an important role in gaining the confidence required for a beauty pagent.
The last three months for her were quite challenging. She juggled between studies, workout schedule & other grooming preparation.While other students in the hostel would sleep, she would get up early to work out, attend grooming classes & then college studies.
She says “I keep trying to push my limits.I love to workout & do yoga.I have healthy foods habbits.I generally avoid junk & oily food. Apart from regular exercise, healthy food is must to maintain a healthy body. Meditation is required to deal with the pressure during such competitions.”
She also posesses a collection of more than 2000 fancy erasers from all over the world. Apart from that she has joined hands with her mother Mrs Neelam Bowade working for their NGO Manaswini foundation for education of less privileged girls.
Tanaya gives credit of her success to her mother Neelam, father Jayprakash Bowade & Ms Simran Vig the director of Absolu Elle, a grooming and modelling agency of Mumbai.
