Nagpur: City’s own beauty diva Mrs Shilpa Agrawal has been crowned for very prestigious Mrs India Globe Contest 1st runner up!! Shilpa has brought laurels to the city by winning this international crown for first time for city of nagpur !! This is a international event where married Indian women from all over the world had participated with finals at eumbai held from 3 rd to 5 th of November !! Audition of this event to select finalist was done across all major cities of India & abroad !! Shilpa agrawal also won the subtitle of Mrs India Globe Perfect Smile !!! Shilpa has also very recently won very prestigious title of haute monde internationals “Mrs India Worldwide .. Mrs Inspirational Title.”

On asking about her aim on winning this prestigious title, she said, “I want to motivate other married women of tier 2 cities like Nagpur to come out of their closet and participate in this prestigious contest & prove that they are better than their counterparts from metro cities!!”

She also said contest like Mrs India Globe & Mrs India Worldwide provide excellent platform to married Indian women to showcase their talent & helps in grooming & increasing their self confidence !! Telling about the Mrs India Globe contest, Shilpa said, “There were many rounds like talent round, ethnic round, question answer round, introduction round & final rounds in which all participants were judged throughout the competition over three days !!

Talking about her experience while being in the contest, Shilpa, “Mrs India Globe contest or in fact any beauty pageant like Miss Universe or Miss India is not about winning or losing!! Every participant is a winner here as they go home richer with lot of rich experience, lot of friends for life, lot of peer learning, grooming & exposure !!
She said she Really feel honoured to be among one of the most wonderful, beautiful, talented married Indian women from all over the world! Majority of them were from services ( army, navy, airforce ). Their family background in services bestowed them with confidence, poise, grace, talent and risk taking since their childhood!!
Many of them trained for beauty pageants for months from reputed international beauty pageant institutes like TIARA training institute Pune (which conducts courses for beauty pageants ) !! Many of them married recently & were participants of beauty pageants like Miss India before marriage !!

Mrs Shilpa agrawal is leading lady industrialist of the region. She is CEO of Akash Furnitech PVT ltd !!. She was awarded best lady industrialist of region by the then CM of Maharashtra Prithviraj Chavan!! She has also been awarded “Vocational Excellence Award” by Rotary international !!
She has also won Mrs Nagpur contest in 2004 & also Mr & Mrs Nagpur contest along with her husband Akash Agrawal in 2005 !! She has won many dance contest also!! Her aim in life is too become leading women industrialist of India so that she can motivate other women to become industrialist & thus be part of Indian growth story!!
She is one of the very few lady industrialists in Central India who is full time into management & execution into hardcore business of manufacturing, wholesaling & retailing of furniture ( otherwise mostly managed by males). She has visited China few times to study furniture industry there & found overall women in China work shoulder to shoulder to men in all hardcore manufacturing & other business!! It inspired her to excel & become one of the top lady industrialists of India so that she can also inspire other women to join the industry & contribute towards India in becoming business superpower!! She is a visiting faculty to various MBA, BBA, Engg colleges such IMT Katol, etc & organisations like VIA, TIE, VMA etc.
