Mumbai/Nagpur: Senior Congress leader and former Minister from Nagpur Nitin Raut has been entrusted with the responsiblity of Vice President of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee while Umakant Agnihotri has been appointed Secretary in the newly released list of new office bearers of the committee.
This list duly approved by Congress President Sonia Gandhi has been released on Tuesday by Janardan Dwivedi, MP General Secretary, AICC.include the names of office bearers, Executive Committee, Spokespersons, an Advisory Council and thirteen District Congress.
In the newly released list senior party leader SQ Zama has been appointed as General Secretary whereas few other members to become General Secretary include Nana Gawande, Nitin Kumbhalkar, Mujeeb Pathan, Prafull Gudadhe Patil.
Among the members included in party’s executive committee include senior Congress leader Vilas Muttemwar, Mukul Wasnik, Avinash Pande, Anees Ahmed, Anant Rao Gharad, Gev Awari and Sunil Kedar.
Party leader Ashok Chavan announced the names in this regard on Monday. The new committee members have been consciously picked up to accommodate more youth faces into the body.
