Nagpur’s ex CP and State’s former DGP Arvind Inamdar passes away

Nagpur: Maharashtra’s former Director General of Police Arvind Inamdar who also served at Commissioner of Police in Nagpur passed away in Mumbai in the early hours on Friday. Inamdar who retired as DGP Maharashtra, breathed his last at 2 am last night. The news of his death unleashed a pall of gloom on his well wishers. Inamdar was one of the finest Police officers in Maharashtra, best known for his honesty and Integrity.

His mortal remains will be kept at his residence Shalakha opp Cooperage near Mantralaya from 9:30 am to 10:30 am to pay last respects. Cremation will be held at Chandanwadi Marine Lines at 11 am on Friday.

Inamdar, with his exemplary body of work has been an inspiration to many. Meanwhile mourners have gathered at his residence to pay last regards to their mentor and their guiding force.
