Nagpur University Board of Examinations meeting on June 1

Nagpur News: The meeting of Board of Examinations has been organized on June 1. The meeting was not conducted last year due to unknown reasons following which decisions on many serious issues were on a knife-edge waiting for BoE’s approval. It is to be noted that it is compulsory to have a meeting of BoE once a year.

Major issues like parallel examination centre at Agnihotri Physical Education College under Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University were pending with BoE after the report was sent by Disciplinary Action Committee last year. Recommendations were made not to give examination centre to the college and also to take action against principal, teachers, and students but nothing could be done without approval from BoE. Also, action against Dr Shalini Lihitkar, who favoured her sister in B Lib and M Lib examinations, is still pending with BoE. Another case of mass copy is also waiting action from BoE. All these major are pending with BoE since last year.

It is to be noted that it is mandatory to conduct a meeting of BoE once in a year to give information about changes in examination rules, upgradation of examinations, sorting of problems under RTMNU are done in this BoE meeting.
