Nagpur: In an upsetting turn of event, 55 year old woman lost her life after a star bus knocked her near Koradi naka on Wednesday noon.
Deceased was identified as Pournima Moreshwar Ambade, resident of Sneh Nagar, Nagpur was walking home when a speeding star bus (MH/31/CA/6223) hit her near Koradi Naka on Soner-Nagpur road on Wednesday afternoon. Severely injured victim was subsequently rushed to Mayo hospital. During operating, where she succumbed to her injures.
“We have registered a case under section 279, 304 (A). We have already seized the vehicle and arrested driver Rajedra Prabhakar Chaudary,” informed police constable Shalik Uike, Koradi police station.
