The day had its own distinct yet emotional moments as the world over celebrated mother’s day. Here’s a low down on how motherly the atmosphere reflected in Nagpur.

Mother or aai – whatever you call, the emotions beneath exuberates the same warmth and care that nothing in the world can match. And swaying in the similar moods was ‘aapla’ Nagpur’s young brigade who pulled all stops to make up for the chic and trendy mother’s day. The gifts galore, the parties thrown up and the expressions went full on as the city celebrated Mother’s Day on Sunday.
The rising temperatures set atmosphere for some homely get together. While many in the cozy comfort of their homes took the family moments to the memorable best, few others chose to bring out their mothers for long outing, all in the family.

“I woke up early this morning and secretly went to a nearby shop to get a chocolate bar and cake for my mom. I had kept money with me that came from my piggy savings. She was too delighted to be greeted with this pleasant surprise,” said 10 years old Krish who planned to take her mom out for dinner this evening.
