Nagpur News: A young volleyball player employed in Nagpur police died of a massive heart attack while playing at the ground in village Borikheda in Melghat near here. Kishore Shankar Patel, 24, collapsed on the spot as he jumped up to play a shot and eventually fell on his back. He went to participate in a tournament organized in the village.
Patel has been a proficient state level player. During the tournament when he was at the ground he accidentally fell on his back and collapsed. Forest ranger Shankar Dhote and Vanpal SG Dhote rushed him to primary health centre where he was referred to sub district hospital where he was declared dead.
Back in Nagpur, the news unleashed a wave of grief among the fellow policemen.
