Nagpur Nikhilesh creat a New National Record in 300 meters with Triple Golds in Speed Skating Nationals

Nagpur News : Nagpur’s NIKHILESH TABHANE gave Maharashtra the first National Record of the 50th Speed Skating National Championships, smashing his own record at the Ameya Classic Club’s International Roller Sports Centre, Virar West

In the 300 meters time trial event of Inline skating ,The 22 year Old Nikhilesh Clocked 25.82 seconds to break his Own Record of 26.50 secs set in Ahmedabad in August 2012 during Indian team selection trials for Asian Championships. Hence , became the Fastest Skater Of the Country. He is The first and the only Skater to clock the timing in this Bracket in the Indian Conditions till date .Also he bagged his second and third Gold medal in 500 meters and 1000 meters events respectively And hence became Individual National Champion in Senior Age Group with the highest 15 points tally . Tabhane has already represented the country in seven various Internationals including Asian and World Championships. He has been India’s Fastest skater many times and is now looking forward for an International Medal.

Tabhane has Also captained Indian Speed Skating Team several times in WORLDS and ASIANS. So far he has Won 26 Gold, 12 silvers and 3 bronze in National Skating Meets . Similarly , he has clinched 38 yellow medals, 15 silvers and 5 bronze medals in State level Meets. At District Championships, He has 55 Gold and 5 Silver medals to his already overflowing Cupboard.
