Nagpur: Air travel between Nagpur and Navi Mumbai is about to get a major boost. Indigo Airlines has announced that it will begin operations from the new Navi Mumbai International Airport starting December 25, with Nagpur included among the first ten cities to be connected.
According to Indigo’s schedule, the Navi Mumbai-Nagpur flight will take off at 1:45 PM and land in Nagpur at 3:20 PM. The return flight from Nagpur will depart at 4:00 PM and reach Navi Mumbai at 5:35 PM. Ticket bookings for these flights are already live on the Indigo website, giving passengers an early chance to plan year-end travel.
Indigo has confirmed that the number of flights from Navi Mumbai will gradually increase in the coming months as the new airport expands operations. Along with Indigo, Air India is also gearing up to start services from Navi Mumbai, although ticket sales for its routes have not yet opened.

Navi Mumbai’s air connectivity is set to grow beyond Indigo and Air India. Akasa Air will operate its first flight between Delhi and NMIA. In the next few days, Akasa will also begin services to Goa, Kochi, and Ahmedabad. Bookings for Akasa flights are available through its website, Android and iOS apps, and major travel portals.
With Nagpur now linked to Navi Mumbai, travellers can expect smoother connections, reduced congestion compared to Mumbai’s main airport, and more flight options in the near future.
