
Nagpur: Police in Nagpur have registered a case against an individual identified as Sabale following a complaint related to alleged stalking, defamation, and insulting the modesty of a woman, reportedly the wife of a minister.
Based on the complaint received, police have registered offences against the accused under multiple provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The charges include Section 78(1)(ii) and Section 78(2) related to stalking, Section 79 pertaining to insulting the modesty of a woman, and Section 356(2) related to defamation, along with Section 67 of relevant provisions.
Police officials stated that the case was registered following allegations that the accused had engaged in objectionable actions and defamatory conduct targeting the complainant. Authorities are currently investigating the matter and gathering further evidence.
