Nagpur: Central Railway has decided to run two special trains for clearing the passenger rush in view of the festival ahead. The fare as decided by Railways is going to be special charges as the trains are to be operated under the Train on Demand (TOD@1.3) scheme.
Train No. 01021/01022 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Nagpur-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Special: Train No. 01021 will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) for Nagpur on April 3 (Friday) at 00:55 hrs and arrive in Nagpur at 15:45 hrs the same day. On its return journey, Train No. 01022 will depart from Nagpur on April 4 (Saturday) at 20:00 hrs and reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai at 11:45 hrs the next day.

Train No. 01467/01468 Pune-Nagpur-Pune Special: Train No. 01467 will depart from Pune for Nagpur April 3 (Friday) at 15:50 hrs and arrive in Nagpur at 06:30 hrs the next day. On its return journey, Train No. 01468 will depart from Nagpur on April 4 (Saturday) at 08:00 hrs and reach Pune at 23:30 hrs on the same day.
Halts: Uruli, Daund CordLine, Ahmednagar (Ahilya Nagar), Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Murtizapur, Badnera, Dhamangaon and Wardha.
Composition: 02 AC 2-tier, 04 AC 3-tier, 08 Sleeper Class, 04 General Second Class and 02Guard-cum-Luggage Vans, totalling 20 coaches.
Both trains will have modern LHB coaches, ensuring a safe and comfortable travel experience for passengers. As per Railway Administration, booking for these trains will open from March 24 at all PRS counters and on the IRCTC website. Some coaches will be operated as unreserved, and tickets for these can be obtained through the UTS system. Central Railway appeals to passengers to avail themselves of these special train services and ensure a smooth and convenient journey.
