Following the strong winds, few trees have been reportedly uprooted while leaving the city thoroughly drenched.
The sudden weather change is said to have occurred due to normal phenomenon of weather pattern.
The rains started late Monday noon that continue to lash the city in parts and remained rainy till Tuesday.
Met suggested that the light showers will continue for another day, following which the temperature is set to further rise.
