Nagpur Congress’s Black Day protest against suspension of 25 MPs

nagpur-congress-protest (2)Nagpur: Nagpur city Congress hold a massive Rasta roko aandolan against the PM Modi led BJP government to protest against the suspension of 25 MPs from the Lok Sabha). Nagpur city (dist.) congress committee members and party workers staged dharna at Jhaansi Rani square today.

The dharna turned intense after a while. The square was jammed with a huge crowd on agitated congress workers for around 2 hours. Effigy of PM Modi was burned on road as well as another effigy of our Prime minister was hanged on top of the Shahid Gowari Udaan pul. Posters of PM Modi were painted with black ink .Slogans like, “Modi sarkaar murdabaad”, “ Modi Sarkaar hay-hay”, “Gundagardi nhi chalegi”, “Hitler Shaahi nhi chalegi’.

nagpur-congress-protest (1)These slogans were prominently shouted by the congress workers. Congress workers slept on roads to jam the traffic and show their agitation. They even took the keys from the bus drivers so that the buses won’t be able to move. The agitation was led by City Congress committee president Vikas Thakre and General Secretary Umakant Agnihotri and other prominent party leaders also participated in the morcha.
