Fake cops on prowl again, couple robbed

On May 16 around 6-45 am complainant, Chandrakant Vasudev Vazalwar, 70,a resident of, Plot no. 62, Ratannagar, Nagpur was taking morning walk along with his wife when they were approached by two persons in age group of 35-40 claiming themselves to be cops.

They told morning walker couple that somebody had stabbed and robbed people in the area so they demanded their ornaments, a mangalsutra and ring collectively valued at Rs 67,000/ and taking the ornaments they sped away on two bikes.

On the report of the complainant  Nandanvan  police sub-inspector, Ingle, has registered offence under sections 170, 420 and 34 of IPC.

Girl sexually exploited on promise of marriage

One Dinesh Chaitanyakumar Bhagat, 27, a resident of, Ranala, Adarshnagar, Plot no. 110, Kamptee is alleged to have sexually exploited, complainant girl aged about 24 on promise of marriage. She has also alleged the boy of forcible unnatural acts from year 2008 to 2014 at his room in jurisdiction of MIDC police station, in police nagar.

On the report of the complainant MIDC police sub-inspector, Bhagat has registered offence under sections 376, 377 and 417 of IPC.

House breaking in railway quarters

On the report of the complainant, Mohd Jafar Iqbal, Mohd Aziz Ul-haq, 26, Jaripatka  police sub-inspector, Atram  has registered offence under sections 457, 380 of IPC.

The details of the incident are- the complainant’s father, a resident of, GL/4/2 railway quarters in Jaripatka police station jurisdiction, had gone to Chandrapur along with his family for some religious function. At this time the complainant son had also gone to his friend on May 15 when the thieves broke into their house and stole gold and silver ornaments and cash collectively valued at Rs 1,62,064/ . The complaint has been registered at Jaripatka police station and police sub-inspector, Atram is investigating into the matter.
