Nagpur all set for Durga Festival with Navratri start from Sep 25

Nagpur: Various organisations and associations of the city are gearing up for upcoming Navratri festival. During celebration, various cultural, devotional and Rasgarba will be organised all nine days of the event.

Khamla wali Mata Mandir, Sindh Mata Mandal. Sindhi Colony Khamla, is all set to create replica of Govardhan Parvat and Radha Krishna Prem Bhavan this year. The mandal is popular for making huge moving replicas of Pouranic episodes since last 33 years.

Senior Corporator Prakash Totwani addressed a press conference recently in which he gave details about this year’s mega replica of Govardhan Parvat and Radhe Krishna’s Prem Bhavan. Union Minister Nitin Gadlcari will inaugurate the Navratri Utsav celebrations of Sindh Mata Mandal at 7 pm on October 25.

MLC Prof Anil Sole. MLA Devendra Fadnavis, Mayor Pravin Datke, and youth leader Samir Meghe will also grace the occa¬sion. Laxmi Nagar Zone president Gopal Bohare, Corporators Girish Deshmukh, Sanjay Bond, Pallavi Shyamkule, and others would also remain present. Totwani told that the Ghat Sthapana ritual will be performed at I1 am on September 25 at die hands of pandit Vijay Sharma. Darshan yatra for common peo¬ple will stan from 6 pm onwards. The Yatra timing will be from 6 pm to I I pm daily during the nine-day celebrations of Navaratri. A grand Bhandara is organ¬ized on Ashtami which falls on October 2.

Earlier, the Mandal has gained popularity by installing Maa Vaishnodevi Shrine. Laxman Jhula, Akshar Dham Mandl, Ayyapa Swami Mandir, Badrinath Dham, Kedarnath Dham, Amarnath Dham. Pavagad’s Mahakali Mandir and many other replicas.

A team of dedicated workers including Narayan Bhojwani, Parmanand Shambhuwani, Kalyandas Chhatwani, Rajan Ramchandani. Dilip Santwani, Ranesh Denwani, Gopichand Totwani, Sevakram Totwani, Ravi Nasikwar, Deepak Dhanwani, Nandlal Chetwani, Dilip Chainani, and others is working hard for the success of the celebrations.

Pashupatinath Mandir replica in Ujiwal Nagar:

Ujjawal Nagar Navdurga Mandal has decided to install a replica of Nepal’s popular Pashupatinath Mandir. President of Manila! Anil Mourya, Secretary Dharrnendra Shukla, and others informed in a press conference that the Mandal has a tradition to install such replicas from last 14 years.

Earlier, the Mandal had installed real-looking repli¬cas of Akshardham, Somnath Mandir. Birla mandir, Belur Math. Mhaisur Palace. Swami Vivekanand Smarak, Siddhatek Ganesh Mandl, Chardham, Jaipur City Palace, Red Pone, and much more. This year, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will formally inaugu¬rate the celebrations on September 25. MLC Prof Anil Sole will preside over. Rajya Sabha MP Ajay Sancheti. MLA Devendra Fadnavis, Sagar Meghe, Corporators Avinash Thalcre. Sandeep Joshi, Prakash Totwani, Girish Deshmulch, Munna Yadav, and others will grace the occasion.

Durgamata Utsav Mandal, Jaripatka. is ready to celebrate Navratri Utsav near Dayanand College in Jaripatka. The Bhoomipujan of festival place was held recently in presence of Harichand Kanjwani, Mukesh Dayaramani, Soni Janiyani, Govind Bajaj, Jaykumar Kanjwani, Hitesh Kanjwani and Tame Rahawani.

The Mandal is going to celebrate Navratri festival from September 25 to October 3. Various activities and devotional programmes will be held during the event.

Yog Mata Mandir, Mecosabagh:

The Ghatsthapna of Navratri festival will be held on September 24 at Yog Mata Mandl, Mecosabagh. The festival will com¬mence from September 25 till October 3. The Manok,amna Yava will be performed regularly dur¬ing the event.

Surd! Dudhani, Dilip Sonani, Bunty Dudhani, Viju Lalwani, Viju Dayaramani, Sundar Ranglani, Hari Kanjwani, Nirmal Dudhani, K T Dhanrajani, Sunny Dudhani, Mohan Gurbakshani and others are work¬ing hard for success of the event.

Radhakrishna Mandl, Mecosabagh:

The Navratri Festival will be commence from September 25 at Radhakrishna Mandir in Mecosabagh. The Ghatsthaptw and Akhand /yo: Sthapna will be held same day. The Ashtami Puja will be performed on October 2. Shakti Upasana and Aarti will be performed regu¬larly during the festival. The distribution of Mahaprasad will be held regularly during the festival.

Shiv Shakti Mandal, Garoba Maidan:

Shiv Shakti Mandal, Garoba Maidan, preparing for upcoming Nawatri festival. The Ghatstimpna will be held on September 25 while regularly Maha Aarti will be per¬formed. Mahaashtami will be held on October 2 and Mahaprasad will be also distributed on same day. Vijay Gwalani, Jasubhai Gwalani, Kishanchand Gwalani. Sindhu Navyuvak Durga Utsav Mandal, Jaripatka will be cel¬ebrating Durga Utsav at Jaripatka from September 25 to October 3. The Bhoomipujan of the festival place was held recently at the hands of Suresh Jagyasi, Thakur Jagyasi and Murali Maharaj.
