Nagpur-Ahmedabad Express to now run thrice a week

Nagpur: The frequency of the popular Nagpur-Ahmedabad Express will be increased from twice a week to three times a week now onwards.

The train (no. 11454) will depart from Nagpur on Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesday at 9.35 am. Similarly, it will leave Ahmedabad on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4.35 pm, according to a release from the Nagpur division of Central Railway.

This train is popular for passengers going to Jalgaon, Surat, Bharuch, Baroda and onward to Ahmedabad from Nagpur.

In view of the large Gujarathi population living in Nagpur, and students from Nagpur studying in the many colleges and institutes of Ahmedabad and Baroda this is a very popular train and tickets have to be booked months in advance. Adding another day will definitely gladden the heart of all these commuters.
