Nagpur: Abduction and gang-rape of teenage girl turned out to be hoax!

Nagpur: The sensational news of alleged abduction and gang rape of a 19-year-old girl on Monday morning, turned out to be hoax! Police said.

The girl reportedly narrated the false story to mislead the cops and her family in a bid to marry her boyfriend, sources said.

It is pertinent to mention that, the 19-year-old girl had approached Kalamna Police with a complaint of alleged abduction and rape. Acting swiftly on the matter, the Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar conducted the meeting with other senior brass of Nagpur Police. The CP had also roped in the force of around 1000 cops to nab the accused.

However, in the end the matter came to fore that the girl was only misleading the cops throughout the investigation.
