London: In an exclusive chat with India Samvad former IPL Boss Lalit Modi revealed his daughter invested in a hotel owned by Rajesthan CM Vasundhara Raje’s son Dushyant Singh. Lalit Modi against who the Court has issued Non-bailable warrant in a case relating to Enforcement Directorate said that his daughter invested in the Niyanta Heritage Hotel Pvt Limited. “ My daughter invested through a Mauritius-based company only after the approval of Reserve Bank of India. What’s wrong in this. She invested solely to make profit,” Lalit Modi admitted.
According to Lalit Modi share of Rs. 10 was purchased at Rs 96000, based on the then current rate of the property. Now each share is worth Rs 4 to 5 lakhs. He said that from the business point of view it was a good decision of his daughter. The Indian industrialist who is presently residing in London said that he has family terms with Vasundhara Raje. It was due to these terms that his daughter intended to invest in the property.
