    Musical “Gaane Jaane Maane” by budding artists leaves audience spell-bound


    Nagpur:
    The city-based Pratikruti Events & Entertainment recently organised a musical programme “Gaane Jaane Maane” at Vasantrao Deshpande Hall. The event was aimed at providing a platform for budding and aspiring artists of the city. And the artists grabbed the opportunity with both hands and showcased their talent by presenting melodious songs from old and new films.

    The tone was set by Vinay Shukla and Nandita Sahu who presented the Gulzar penned “Naam Gum Jayega” duet.


    Even before the thunderous applause could go silent, a number of lilting songs left the audience spell-bound. “Rimzim Gire Sawan,” “Roop Tera Mastana,” “Sagar Kinare,” “Tumne Mujhe Dekha,” “Jaana O Meri Jaana,” “Chadhti Jawani,” “Lag Ja Gale,” and such tuneful songs mesmerised the knowledgeable audience.

    The promising singers who rendered melodious songs one after another include Vinay Shukla, Nandita Sahu, Abhijit Pophle, Ravindra Pande, Akash Porwal, Shailaja Bade, Vandana Deshbhratar, Sunita Kamble, Pradnya Dorle, and Rupali Das Roy.


    The music was arranged by Mahendra Dole and Parimal Joshi. The musical event was the brainchild of Vinay Shukla. The programme was conducted by Ezaz Khan and Manjul Shukla in their own style.
