As a part of 69th Independence Day Celebrations, a musical evening is being organised by Headquarters Maintenance Command at Empress Mall Nagpur on August 16, 2015 from 6pm to 7.30pm. The musical evening will be presented by No. 5 Air Force Band of Maintenance Command, Vayusena Nagar. The Band will enthral the audience with martial tunes, besides Indian and Western popular instrumental songs.
The objective of this event is to spread the message of patriotism and increase awareness about the IAF among Nagpurians in general and the youth in particular. Towards this aim, a Publicity Enclosure will also be set up at the venue to spread understanding of various career opportunities available to the youth in choosing IAF as a career option.
