Nagpur: A new aspect has come to fore in the investigation into the death of two youth (young boy Manoj Katgaye and girl Purva Hedau) in the farm house belonging to BTP Farmhouse and BCN Channel Director Shiraj Sheikh.
Under the directions of Kalmeshwar Police Inspector Pramod Madame, Police Inspector A Agrawal will now be probing into the role of the lady identified as Pranita alias Aunty who used to accept bookings of parties in the farm-house.
Some of the details that have come to fore in the investigations by Kalmeshwar Police revealed that Shiva Yadav’s friend Pratiksha had booked the farm house for the party to celebrate the birthday of Shiva Yadav, claimed Police Inspector Pramod Madame.
The Investigating Officer of Kalmeshwar Police has taken the statements of all the students who had attended the birthday party of Shiva Yadav on that fateful day in the farm house where Purva Hedau died.
The death of Purva Sanjay Hedau and Manoj Katgaye in the swimming pool of a farmhouse near Kalmeshwar has become one of the high-profile probes monitored by very senior police officials of Nagpur Rural Police.
With the death of Manoj Katgaye, the Kalmeshwar Police has registered two cases of death against the owner of BTP Farmhouse and BCN Channel Director Shiraj Sheikh. However, the court has granted bail to Shiraj Sheikh in both the cases.
Nagpur Rural Superintendent of Police Dr Arti Singh too acted swiftly and ordered Kalmeshwar Police Inspector Pramod Madame to investigate the death of the two youth threadbare. PI Madame, while speaking to media personnel claimed that till they question Pranita alias Aunty, the probe into the case cannot proceed.
Sources claimed that if a detailed and multipronged investigation is carried out, many other aspects will come to fore in the suspicious death of two youth.
