Mufti Mohammad Sayeed’s funeral pics with emojis put JK Govt to shame

Srinagar/Nagpur: Jammu and Kashmir former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed’s funeral procession has been displayed in a ridiculous manner on the state government’s official Facebook page. The pictures of the procession put up on the social media carried emojis and soon went viral on the social media.

Although an apology was tendered on the same Facebook page, the damage had already been done.
Infuriated netizens expressed dismay over posting such pictures.

Moreover, it took the concerned department 12 hours to take notice of the blunder and remove the content.

Thousands on Thursday evening attended the burial of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, who died in New Delhi.
A huge mass of mourners had assembled at the first ‘Nimaz-e-Jinaza’ (funeral prayer) for Sayeed in Srinagar and a second in his hometown Bijbehara where he was laid to rest.
