Nagpur: Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC), Nagpur Region, will celebrate June 1, its Formation Day as ‘Transport Day’ in a befitting manner. The main inaugural function of the celebration will be held at Ganeshpeth Bus Stand here at 12.30 pm on June 1. Ramtek MP Krupal Tumane will grace the programme as chief guest and inaugurate the celebration.
To mark the ‘Transport Day,’ the MSRTC, Nagpur Region, will felicitate the outstanding employees of different divisions and depots. Similarly, a reward scheme on the basis of productivity revenue will be implemented for conductors and drivers. All the employees at depot-level could also avail benefits of Health Camp to be organized on that day.
All the bus stands have been decked up with colourful decorations and the passengers will be greeted with an array of flowers. Complaints and suggestions of passengers will also be resolved on immediate basis in the best of traditions of MSRTC. Care is being taken to maintain and clean the buses running on various routes. Billboards and notice boards are being put up at various bus stops and stands informing the passengers about different schemes that are being implemented by MSRTC.
Passengers have been requested to participate in the ‘Transport Day’ celebrations and urged to travel only in MSRTC buses.
