MSEDCL bags National Level ‘Green Grid Award’ and ‘Best State Power Utility Award’

 In the recently held National Energy Council at New Delhi, the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) bagged Green Grid Award and Best State Power Utility Award.

A function to mark the event was organized under joint auspices of Union Government’s Ministry of Energy and Indian Chambers of Commerce. The awards were given away at the hands of Chairman, Kendriya Vidyut Pradhikaran Major Singh and it was received by MSEDCL Director (Operation) Abhijit Deshpande along with Chief Engiineer Ranjana Page, Executive Engineers Jitendra Fule and Makrand Kulkarni.

Prominently present on the occasion were former Chairman K V Pradhikaran) H L Bajaj, former Secretary (Energy) Anil Rajdan and others.

The MSEDCL has done tremendous work in the field of power distribution including consumer grievance redressal cell round the clock with online facility, modernization of various services in consumers interest, mobile app for paying bills and other ventures.

It has achieved target to feed 5000 MW power demand management, LED bulbs distribution. It acquired Green Grid Award at first position, and Best State Power Utility Award at second position, informed a press release.
