Nagpur: A mother-son duo was attacked with knife and injured seriously by a man over old dispute. The incident took place in Old Kamptee on Sunday night. The injured have been admitted to Mayo Hospital. The accused has reportedly been arrested.
According to Rukhsanabi Abdul Aziz (60), resident of Tilak Nagar, Mondha Kamptee, her son Abdul Vakil Abdul Aziz (27) was sleeping in house around 11 pm on Sunday. At the same time, the accused Laxminarayan Bandebuche (29) of Kamptee entered into the house of Rukhsanabi and picked quarrel with her son over old dispute.
Suddenly, the accused whipped out a knife and attacked Abdul Vakil Aziz and inflicted a serious injury on his left eye. As Rukhsanabi tried to save her son the accused stabbed her on her right hand. The accused also threatened to kill the mother-son duo. The seriously injured Rukhsanabi and Abdul Vakil were taken to Mayo Hospital where they are being treated for stab injuries.
Old Kamptee police constable Samadhan booked the accused Laxminarayan Bandebuche under Sections 326, 324, 452, 323, 504, 506 of the IPC and reportedly arrested him.
