Mobile phones worth Rs 9.88 lakh stolen from Dharampeth shop

Nagpur: Burglars targeted a mobile shop in Dharampeth and decamped with cash and goods worth around Rs 10 lakh.

According to complainant Sunil Lachhavani (35), resident of Dixit Nagar, he owns a mobile shop named The Blue Eye in Dharampeth area. On October 25, Sunil closed his shop as usual in the night and went home. During the night, unidentified miscreants bent the shutter of the mobile shop and laid their hands on 98 handsets of different companies worth Rs 9.88 lakh as well as cash of Rs 3000. The theft came to notice of Sunil the next day when someone informed him about the smashed shutter and the theft.
