Mob storm OCW Office at Sugat Nagar, damage property in lakhs

Nagpur News:Jaripatka police have booked 20 unidentified persons for resorting to violence and damaging property of OCW office at Sugat Nagar Water Tank.

According to reports, about 20 persons stormed the Water Tank premises and asked the guard Anil Rade, deployed by Top Security Agency, to open the pipeline and supply water to the area. However, when Reid refused to meet their demand saying since it is Sunday, a holiday, water cannot be supplied without authorization. The refusal by Rade to supply water enraged the mob of 20 and they resorted to violence and damaged computers, printers and chairs kept at the office of the OCW. They even thrashed the security guard Anil Rade.

The battered and bruised Anil Rade immediately contacted a person named Bhattacharya. Bhattacharya then approached Jaripatka Police Station and lodged a complaint against the 20-odd unidentified persons. Police have booked the 20 persons under relevant sections of IPC and are probing the matter further.
