Nagpur: Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Thursday announced the first list of 30 candidates for NMC poll. The list include the sitting Corporator Vishaya Vikas Khobragade, social activist from Vathoda Fakira Jibhkate, City Mahila Sena President Manisha Papadkar, Sushrut Kher, Division President Kapil Aware and others.MNS has fielded seven women in the first list.
The MNS State General Secretary Hemant Gadkari handed over AB Forms to 30 candidates of the first list. The second list of candidates could be announced late night, hinted Gadkari. Present on the occasion were City MNS President Pravin Barde, Deputy Chief Prashant Pawar, Vishal Badge, District Chief Kishore Saraikar, Mahila Sena President Manisha Papadkar, and other office-bearers.
The 30 candidates in the first list are Vishaya Vikas Khobragade (3-D), Fakira Shravan Jibhkate (26-D), Manisha Anand Papadkar (31-C), Raju Mohod (28-A), Sushrut Kher (15-D), Mangesh Shinde (29-D), Manisha Nishane (11-C), Sandhya Sewatkar (34-D), Savita Watkar (14-D), Pramod Raut (11-D), Vikram Gupta (19-D), Anil Durugkar (20-C), Niraj Kukde (17-D), Kapil Aware (27-D), Deepak Ujjainkar (6-D), Rahul Ambade (1-A), Narendra Patil (5-D), Giridhar Bhajbhuje (27-A), Pawan Shahu (4-B), Sitaram Mangal Pal (4-D), Jitendra alias Lala Manohar Sasane (3-A), Ashok Kunjam (3-B), Ashish Jain (22-D), Ravi Singhai (21-A), Bhushan Borkar (1-D), Ganesh Mudliyar (16-D), Rajesh Kharekar (2-D), Ghanshyam Nikhade (18-A), Rajeshri Nikam (18-B) and Sukeshini Roshan Borkar (2).
