Nagpur: Shiv Sena Member of Legislative Council Anil Parab, one of the closest leaders to the late Shiv Sena Supremo Balasaheb Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray has been made the Sampark Pramukh of Nagpur on October 15, 2015.
The think-tank of Nagpur opine that making Shiv Sena MLC Anil Parab as Sampark Pramukh of Nagpur can be construed as the party’s intention to come back with a bang. Sources claimed that during the last elections of Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha, many leaders of Shiv Sena had left the party. Some of the leaders of Shiv Sena have been allocated the work of bringing back the erstwhile leaders of party who had left it.
Earlier, Shiv Sena Leader Dr Deepak Sawant was the Sampark Pramukh of East Vidarbha region. However, since he is now elected as an MLA and is the State Health Minister, MLC Anil Parab is now made the Sampark Pramukh. Sources in the party have also claimed that many Shiv Sainiks had lodged their complaints against Dr Deepak Sawant to Uddhav Thackeray. Some of the complaints include him not coming to the office, not holding regular meetings or being active.
MLC Anil Parab is a lawyer by education and is known for his organizational skills. He is a Vibhagh Pramukh in Mumbai. He is well known for his work in the streamlining and executing plans of Shiv Sena.
