Nagpur: In an embarrassing turn of events, 13 year old and 32 year old was allegedly molested in two different cases reported under jurisdiction of Lakadganj and Kamptee police station.
In first incident, a minor accompanied with her school friends was heading school when on a moter cycle accused Siddharth Ramteke (20), Ranjeet Mate (40) and Saurabh Yadav (20) all resident of Gangabai Ghat road interrupted her near B Tiles and Sanitary wear shop. They first accosted her and asked her to seat on bike. Accused also allegedly threatened her of dire consequence after she refused to aboard. Followed by which, accused robustly held her hand outraging her modesty. Subsequently survivor narrated her ordeal to her parents after which they rushed to Lakadganj police station.
Lakadganj police station has registred a case under section 354 (A), (C) and 34, and subsection Protection of Children from Sexual Offence (POCSO) act 2012.
In second case which was reported under jurisdiction of Kamptee police, 32 year old women was out near Kamptee Railway Station premises when accused Praveen Rangari, resident of Chandramani Nagar followed her and allegedly molested her. Subsequently the victim logged a complaint in police station Kamptee.
