A middle-aged man opted to quit his life by hanging self under the jurisdiction of MIDC Police Station. The deceased has been identified as Chhotelal Keshavrao Patel (40), a resident of Vishwavinayak Nagar.
According to information, family members of Chhotelal found him hanging to the ceiling of the residence on Sunday at around1.20 pm. They immediately informed the police who rushed to the spot. Cops performed panchanama and sent the body for post mortem to Government Medical College and Hospital. MIDC police registered a case of accidental in this regard and have started the investigation. However, no suicide note was recovered from the house and cops are trying to establish the reason behind this suicide.
