Meritous students of Shivaji Science College felicitated

2 (1)Nagpur: The teachers in the university, who are busy in various council elections, should refrain from politics and focus on research. The university is lacking in research work, said Union minister for road transport & shipping Nitin Gadkari on Saturday at the felicitation programme of the meritous students of Shivaji Science College.

3 (1)Gadkari further said that that university is lacking in industry-academics link. The Board of Studies in the university must have experts from various fields. However, the board of studies only have teachers in it and this vision is lacking here.

Speaking on the occassion Adv Shelke said that there should be a measurement of the college and students intellectual development. Dr Bhurghate gave the welcome address and Deepak Kadu proposed a vote of thanks.

The president of the Shivaji Science college sanstha Adv Arun Kumar Shelke presided over the programme. Those prominently present during the programme were MLC Anil Sole, Mahadevrao Bhuibhar, Vasantrao Charjan, Dr Suresh Thakre, Neeri director Dr Satish Wate and college principal Dr Devendra Bhurghate.
