Mumbai/Nagpur: In yet another incident of a hit-and-run case in Mumbai, a Mercedes car mowed down 5 people late on Thursday night. The accused has been identified as a municipal contractor and businessman Amin Khan.
The incident happened post midnight at the Masjid Bhandar Mohammed Ali Road where the victims were sleeping.
The driver of the car is yet to be identified and is still absconding.
Four women and one child are among the 5 people who have been injured and have been admitted to the JJ Hospital in the city.
Khan fled away after the incident but was traced and arrested early on Friday morning.
