Nagpur News: The Nagpur Mayor Anil Sole and MLA Sudhakar Deshmukh found themselves in troubled waters literally as the car they were travelling in got trapped in deep muddy waters. The Mayor and the MLA along with the NMC officials were on inspection visit to Gorewada Lake. The Gorewada Lake is on the verge of reaching the danger level of 70 metres following heavy rains after a long break. Once the Lake reaches the danger level, the floodgates are opened to flow the water into other water sources. The Mayor Anil Sole and MLA Sudhakar Deshmukh were on inspection of the Lake and subsequent measures to be taken in case the water level reaches the danger mark. However, when they were returning to city, their car got trapped in the muddy and slippery grounds thus proving the saying “in troubled waters” literally true.
