Mayor reviews progress of DP road project

D.P. Road Mayor Meeting 21 Dec 2015 (2)Nagpur: Mayor Pravin Datke on Monday reviewed the progress of Develoment Plan (DP) road project and directed officials of Nagpur Municipal Corporation and NIT to seat together to draw an action plan as roads have to be constructed at any cost for overall development of city. The meeting to review the project was held at Standing Committee’s Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Memorial Hall in Civil Lines office.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of Standing Committee Ramesh Singare, Ruling Party Leader Dayashankar Tiwari, Estate, Electricity and Project Special Committee Chairman Sunil Agrawal, Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar, NIT Chairman Shyam Wardhane, Additional Commissioner Dr R Z Siddiqui, Superintending Engineer Prakash Urade, Superintending Engineer (NIT) Sunil Gujjalwar, Assistant Director (Town Planning) Supriya Thool, all Assistant Commissioners of ten zones and other officials.

The Executive Engineer Dilip Jamgade informed the meeting about the DP road project being undertaken from Morris College T-Point to Institute of Science, widening of 24 meter road from Mor Bhavan to Maharajbagh Square on Amravati Road, and other such 78 roads out of 113 DP roads.
