Nagpur: Mayor Nanda Jichkar took stock of the proposed town planning project to be undertaken by Nagpur Smart City and Sustainable Development Corporation Limited under its area-based development at Punapur, Bharatwada and Pardi.
Municipal Commissioner Virendra Singh, CEO of Smart City and Sustainable Development Corporation Limited Dr Ramnath Sonawane and deputy engineer Rajesh Dupare accompanied the Mayor during the inspection recently.
The Mayor and the officials started the inspection round from overhead water tank near Shitla Mata Mandir in Pardi and visited all the sites of road construction at Bharatwada Road, Punapur, Bhavani Mata Mandir and on Bhandara Road.
On the occasion, Dr Ramnath Sonawane presented the sanctioned map of the project to Mayor Nanda Jichkar, who directed the officials concerned for early commencement of the project.
The Mayor took detailed information about the proposed town planning project and also talked to local residents about their problems.
