Nagpur News: The moment Election Commission of India announced schedule (dates) of Lok Sabha elections, the Model Code of Conduct came into force with immediate effect. The outcome of Code of Conduct was that the Mayor Anil Sole, Standing Committee Chairman Balya Borkar, Deputy Mayor Jaitunnabi Ansari, Ruling Party Leader in NMC Pravin Datke, all Zonal Chairmen and other office-bearers returned their official vehicles to NMC Administration as is practice. The NMC witnessed Mayor and others coming to office on their different private vehicles.
