Mayor, actress Revathi, other dignitaries review development work at Ambazari Garden

High profile dignitaries comprising Mayor Pravin Datke, Ruling Party Leader Dayashankar Tiwari, Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar along with South actress Revathi on Saturday visited Ambazari Garden and inspected development and beautification works being undertaken there. Development and beautification works like erection of Swami Vivekanand Memorial at Overflow Point are underway. A 20-foot attractive statue of Swami Vivekanand would be installed there.

The Mayor expressed his desire to include a light and sound show based on the life of Swami Vivekanand at the site so that Nagpur City gets an international standard tourist spot. In this context, a team of actress Revathi was specially invited for implementation of the beautification plan. The Mayor further directed the officials to seek help of Ramkrishna Math and Swami Vivekanand Study Centre in this connection and submit a proposal as early as possible. Revathi and her team created a world standard light and sound show at Raas Island in Andaman and Nicobar Island and making efforts to create the same display at Ambazari Garden.
