A high-profile missing case has been reported in the city.
A student of Montfort School, Mayank Dinesh Singh, the 15-year old son of Chartered Accountant of Reliance Power Company, Butibori, Dinesh Singh, has gone missing since 8.30 in the morning of Friday. Mayank is Class X student of the Montfort School.
The Chartered Accountant Dinesh Singh has lodged a missing complaint with the Pratap Nagar Police Station fearing his son may have been kidnapped. The Pratap Nagar PSI Godam immediately registered converted the missing complaint into an FIR in accordance with the Supreme Court’s ruling making it mandatory for police stations across the country to compulsorily register missing complaints of any minor. The PSI has confirmed the missing of Mayank when Nagpur Today contacted the Pratap Nagar Police Station for details.
The Nagpur Police have launched a massive hunt for tracing the missing boy but have not still succeeded till filing of this report. According to family sources, Mayank is very fond of visiting churches and some of his favourite places. Police have searched all the possible places Mayank could have visited.
The worried Dinesh Singh has appealed all the media to flash the report of missing Mayank with his photograph and also appealed people to inform him if they come face to face with Mayank or jave seen him at any places. Dinesh Singh has given his cell phone number for contacting him in case anyone spots Mayank. The cell phone number is: 9320141720. He has announced a suitable reward giving information about Mayank.
