Nagpur News: Mayank Gandhi, Kejriwal’s Lieutenant, key IAC (India against Corruption) member and RTI activist was in Nagpur to address India Against Corruption (Nagpur) Volunteers at 8PM at Sanghi Sadan, Congress Nagar. It was alleged that Mayank used fake documents to help his uncle Lalit Gandhi’s Lok Group bag the redevelopment scheme for Chira Bazaar in Mumbai. Mayank Gandhi denied all allegations and said that he from a long time is an RTI activist and has worked with Anna Hazare. In 2007 his uncle’s company had made a redevelopment plan of old and dilapidated buildings in Mumbai. Mayank advised his uncle to set up an NGO after which Mayank Gandhi joined his uncle. The ex-municipal commissioner of Mumbai, Narayana Murthy of Infosys, MHADA and the owners and tenants of 35,000 ruinous buildings of Mumbai had together made the redevelopment plan. But later this plan was stalled. Apart from this Mayank also said that  he had quit from the NGO around 16 months back and that not a single rupee was transacted  under the redevelopment plan. This is just a move to malign my name. An RTI activist from Mumbai Kishanji Rao alleged that Mayank Gandhi helped Lalit and other builders in bagging land deals.
