Multiple units reduced to ashes
The fire engulfed several godowns located at Plot No. 01, near Vanya Dharam Kanta, destroying large quantities of materials.
Among the worst affected was a foam storage unit operated by Ramdhara Comfort Products Pvt. Ltd., where losses were estimated at around Rs 30 lakh.

Swift response averts bigger disaster
Fire officials said nearly 18 godowns were located in the area, out of which at least 10 units were directly affected by the blaze. However, timely intervention helped prevent the fire from spreading further, saving property worth nearly Rs 20 crore.
A massive firefighting operation was carried out jointly by teams from multiple fire stations, including Kalamna, Lakadganj, Wathoda, Sakkardara, Sugat Nagar, Civil Lines, Bahadura Gram Panchayat and MIHAN.
Cause yet to be ascertained
Officials said the exact cause of the fire remains unknown and will be determined after a detailed investigation.

No casualties were reported in the incident, but the scale of destruction has raised concerns over fire safety measures in industrial and storage units operating near the dumping yard.
