Nagpur.

Following the impasse still persisting and no decisive step taken by GMCH administration against erring Dr Vyawhare, the resident doctors under the banner of MARD are still continuing their strike, now, stressing more on fulfillment of their 8 demands, pending since July 3, 2015.

Some demands are met like Maternity and TB leave has been sanctioned, increased stipend will be given from December along with all arrears but primary issue of Dr. Vyawhare, Freeship and Bond release has not been yet solved so the resident doctors will continue the strike.

However, on humanitarian ground in the welfare of patients and also relying on the assurance given by goverenment on Thursday, they have agreed to attend the emergency services in GMCH but not to attend the OPD cases.
